Xiaomi India has Launched Selfie-Centric REDMI Y1 and REDMI Y Lite along with it

As teased earlier, Xiaomi India has launched new series of smartphones today, namely Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. Redmi Y1 is Xiaomi 's First selfie-centric smartphone in India. It Sports 16 MP(f/2.0) front-facing camera with soft LED flash. At the Launch event, the company had claimed that this phone simulates the effects of natural lighting and captures more vibrant selfie portraits. This 16MP camera comes with Beautify 3.0 feature which preserves facial details with enhanced photos. On the front, the Redmi Y1 sports 5.5 inch HD display and the back come with the brushed metallic finish like Redmi series devices and a fingerprint scanner on the back. This device is powered by an Octa-Core 64 bit Snapdragon 435 Soc with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM for multitasking. This a dual sim device with support for one 4G Sim, the another with 3G support and an external micro SD.
