Widget support. Graphical representation of the data. Mostly shows accurate data.

Honor 9i with Four Cameras with Full-View Display

2017 is the year of smartphones with bezel-less display started appearing on flagship smartphones, but this trend has been shifted towards mid-range smartphones with the Chinese Smartphone manufactures step up the budget category battle.

 Recently Huawei's  subsidiary brand HONOR had released HONOR 9i in India with 18:9 display with four cameras. This Smartphone is exclusively available on Flipkart starting October 14.

Honor 9i will be available in three color options - Graphite Black, Prestige Gold and Aurora Blue.
The Company claims that this phone is the World's first smartphone with Four Cameras with FullView FHD+ display.

 Design:

 This smartphone has metal uni-body design with a tiny dual camera bump along with a fingerprint sensor on the back and has 5.9 inch LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. This phone has a non-removable 3240 mAh battery and supports hybrid dual sim functionality. On the bottom it has a micro USB port, a speaker grill and a 3.5mm headphone jack.


Specifications and features:

 This phone is powered by Huawei's home grown an Octa-core Kirin 659 SoC with clock speed 2.36 GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. This phone's software runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

 Honor is also highlighting Bluetooth aptX support at launch event. The smartphone comes with some gesture-based shortcuts like 'draw an S' for a long screenshot to capture an entire webpage; 'tap twice with one finger' for a screenshot, and 'tap twice with two fingers' for screen recording. This phone also supports 4G indian bands with VoLTE and USB OTG.

Cameras:

 AS this is Cameras oriented phone, sports two cameras on the back and two on the front.
    • DUAL REAR 16MP + 2MP CAMERAS
    • DUAL FRONT 13MP + 2MP CAMERAS WITH SOFT FLASH along with f/2.0 wide aperture.
Dual cameras on both panels are capable of capturing Bokeh shots and portraits. More like Huawei 8 Pro, the Honor 9i also lets users readjust the focus after the photo has been shot while also allows to choose different Bokeh effects.

Google Maps - New Update (Version 9.70.0)

This new update brings few visual changes and three categories to the maps experience. Search Nearby: Right after opening the app you'll get to see a search nearby panel with separate tiles for Restaurants, Cafes, Gas stations, ATMs, Pharmacies, and Groceries which will help nearby places without any typing. Just below the tiles photos of the popular places nearby which will give first glance about the places and surroundings. This option can be enabled by tapping the Explore tab at the bottom.
