Xiaomi has launched its premium flagship Mi Mix 2 smartphone in India. The phone is priced at INR 35,999 ($551), making it the most expensive Xiaomi phone till date in India.
The biggest highlight of the device is its 5.99-inch bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Mi MIX 2 is also powered by the current flagship mobile SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 835. This device is Flipkart exclusive. however, it will be available on mi.com, Mi Home Stores and offline retail partners across the country.
Xiaomi has launched only one variant in India left fans with no other option. It is a REGULAR "Ceramic+Aluminium" variant which means no SPECIAL EDITION (All Ceramic Body with 8GB RAM) for India.
Design:
Indian variant comes with a Full-Screen display with nearly 6 Inches screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a ceramic body with aerospace grade aluminum grade alloy frame which provides more sturdiness to the phone with the fingerprint sensor on the back and weighs 185G with 7.7mm thickness.

The Mi Mix 2 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC supported by Adreno 540 GPU, with a large 6GB of LPDDR4X dual channel memory and 128GB internal storage (UFS 2.2 Flash Storage). It has a 12 megapixel Sony IMX386 camera (f/2.0 aperture) with two-tone flash on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The rear camera supports 4K video - 30 fps, 1080p video - 30 fps, 720p video - 30 fps and 720p slow-motion video with 120 fps and has 4-axis OIS support as well. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 bears a ceramic body with a 7-Series aluminum frame and an 18K gold plated camera ring on the rear panel
The 5.99-inch display has full-HD+ (1080x2160) resolution with 403 PPI and 1500:1 contrast ratio and has sunlight display, night display, reading mode and color temperature adjustment.
It's powered by a 3400mAh lithium-ion battery with 9V/2A quick charge 3.0 and USB type-C C supports Dual ADC HD voice recording which resulted in no headphone jack. This supports 4G (support for 43 LTE bands), VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0 and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic proximity sensor.
With this launch, Xiaomi has given a real flag-ship choice to mass and competition to all the flagships such as One Plus 5, Nokia 8, Samsung Galaxy 8, 8+ and Note 8, LG G6 etc...
