One Plus has unveiled its second smartphone of the year 2017, Its ONEPLUS 5T.
Unlike OnePlus 3T, the 5T is an excellent upgrade over its predecessor OnePlus 5 though the internal are same. The obvious upgrade is the display which sports 18:9 aspect ratio with edge-to-edge display. This device is price should start at Rs.32,999.
Just like OnePlus5, 5T comes with Aluminium unibody construction and has Dual camera bump. Since the display covers all the front portion, the fingerprint sensor has been shifted to the back and located at a very convenient place. On the front, The 5T has 6inch 18:9 display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2160) resolution and its an AMOLED panel. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla 5. This device has face unlock support which is said to be quite fast.
5T has an upgraded dual camera set up compared to OnePlus 5, this dual camera set up consists of a 16MP main camera and a 20MP secondary camera along with a Dual LED flash. Both the sensors are from Sony and have a f/1.7 aperture with larger pixels. On the front, the 5T sports a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
As mentioned earlier, the specifications of 5T are quite similar to OnePlus 5. Hence this device is powered a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which is an Octa-Core CPU with Adreno 540 GPU. This phone is available in two variants, the base model has 64GB internal storage with 6GB RAM and another variant comes with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM. It has USB TYPE-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack and an Alert Slider.
5T comes with 3300 mAh battery with DASH charge support and weighs 162g. It has Hall, Accelerometer, G-Sensor, E-compass, Gyroscope, Proximity, RGB, and Ambient Light Sensors.
As far as the software is concerned, the 5T runs on Oxygen based Android 7.1.1 out of the box.
