Razor Phone - Smartphone for Gamers

Razor is a Singaporean founded American Company which is dedicated to the design and development of products mainly focused on PC Gaming such as laptops, Tablet computers, wearables, and accessories.

In last week, Razor has unveiled its first smartphone based on Android for Gamers.

The Razor phone has 5.7-inch WQHD LCD panel with 2560 x 1440 p resolution, this is Sharp-made IGZO panel with max 120Hz refresh rate. This is the only smartphone display currently which offers this level of refresh rate, and the Razer Phone adjusts the refresh rate to maximum level automatically depending on the tasks, this would help to save the battery.

The Razor phone has no 2017 design (edge to edge display) but has a blocky design like Nextbit Robin, blocky and has no headphone jack (comes with a type c adaptor which supports 24-bit DAC). This device is completely made of metal, has two front-firing speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Each speaker also has its own amp, and together they can provide 3D virtualization of sound, meaning it should sound just as good from behind as in front. The Fingerprint sensor is situated on the right side of the phone similar to Sony phones.

The Razor phone is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC with 8GB RAM for multitasking, has 64 GB internal storage which can be expanded via Micro SD.It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with Nova prime launcher as default and said to bring Android 8 Oreo to the handset in Q1 of 2018.

The Razer Phone comes with a big 4000mAh battery making it one of the biggest batteries around and weighs 197g. Razer claims that this phone is capable of delivering 12.5 hours of video on a single charge, or 63.5 hours of music playback, or 7 hours of Hearthstone. It's also the first phone to offer Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+, getting you from 0% to 85% in one hour.
As far as the camera set up is concerned, this phone sports a dual camera set up (12MP+12MP) which offer a seamless zoom between the lenses and an 8MP camera on the front.
