This week we have brought brand new weather apps worth trying. 1.  CliMate Released date: 25Jul2020 Downloads:  50+ Size: 2.37 MB Version: 1.15.2  Climate is surely a new entrant to the play store but not just another basic weather app since it offers all the features of a weather app without any ads and in-app purchases with a clean and simlple UI along with loads of customization options. Features: Themes support. Complete weather report for a week. Customizable units Parameters such as temperature, wind speed, Humidity, Pressure, UV Index available. Sunrise and Sunset. Widget support. Graphical representation of the data. Mostly shows accurate data.

OnePlus 5 gets Face unlock feature with Oxygen OS beta

OnePlus 5T has very fast and secure FACE UNLOCK (though OP says that it is not that secure) which has surprised tech world, right after that OP had promised that it would bring this fantastic feature to the OP 5.

As promised, OP has finally extended the ability for users to authenticate its OP 5 smartphones by using facial recognition. The company started officially rolling out its Android-based OxygenOS 5.0.5 which adds Face Unlock feature to the older OP 5 smartphone.

Face Unlock uses the front-facing camera on the phone, along with special software, to identify your face with 100 identifiers so you can unlock it without typing in a code. 

Besides this, the third Open Beta for the OP 5 adds an app shortcut for the Recorder app on the phone’s launcher. It also includes some optimizations for vibration, fixes a connection issue with 5G Wi-Fi, and has a number of other unnamed bug fixes and improvements. Finally, this beta release includes the important security patches.

It is to be noted that OxygenOS 5.0.5 is an OTA update and will reach all OP 5 users gradually. You can always go to your device’s settings and check manually for an update. While official updates rarely damage your device data, it is always a good practice to back it up before running any software update.

Google Maps - New Update (Version 9.70.0)

This new update brings few visual changes and three categories to the maps experience. Search Nearby: Right after opening the app you'll get to see a search nearby panel with separate tiles for Restaurants, Cafes, Gas stations, ATMs, Pharmacies, and Groceries which will help nearby places without any typing. Just below the tiles photos of the popular places nearby which will give first glance about the places and surroundings. This option can be enabled by tapping the Explore tab at the bottom. Search Nearby Driving or Driving Mode: This driving feature proposes faster routes to home or office along with traffic updates in that particular area.
