This week we have brought brand new weather apps worth trying. 1.  CliMate Released date: 25Jul2020 Downloads:  50+ Size: 2.37 MB Version: 1.15.2  Climate is surely a new entrant to the play store but not just another basic weather app since it offers all the features of a weather app without any ads and in-app purchases with a clean and simlple UI along with loads of customization options. Features: Themes support. Complete weather report for a week. Customizable units Parameters such as temperature, wind speed, Humidity, Pressure, UV Index available. Sunrise and Sunset. Widget support. Graphical representation of the data. Mostly shows accurate data.

  • Notch Support ( Display Cutout Support): This sounds pretty weird, but this is very futuristic I guess since most the Android phones in 2018 follow this "NOTCH" trend for some reason. Well, with this feature Android P supports notch (Display Cutout), which lets you find the location and shape where non-functional display available with hardware such as camera and speaker.




  • Indoor Positioning with WiFi RTT: This is a very exciting and useful feature. Google has added the support of Indoor mapping or positioning into Android P with the support for the IEE 802.11 mc Wi-Fi protocol (Wi-Fi Round Trip Time). Apps can take the advantage of this feature with the new generation phone's hardware support. 

  • Notifications: With every version of Android has improved the usability of notifications, in other words how each notification supposed to handle. With Android P quick settings panel got a new cleaner, a refreshing look with round and colorful icons, this is also applicable to the settings panel.

  • Improved notification for Messaging Apps: Android P supports shows images in Messaging notifications on Phones and identifies people involving in a conversation. Smart reply feature is also included along with the semantic action for an intent into the platform for a better messaging experience.

  • Open Mobile API for payments with NFC support for Developers

  • Data Cost and JobScheduler: The JobScheduler uses operator signals to control and manage due tasks in case network congestion.


  • Multi-Camera API: Developers can stream from two or more cameras simultaneously with the new built-in API support.

  • Background Apps Behaviour: The apps running in the background will not be able to access the cameras, microphone, and other sensors automatically to protect the privacy of users.

  • High Dynamic Range (HDR) VP9 Profile 2: This new profile support allows you to take advantage of HDR content from apps such as YouTube and Play Movies.

  • ImageDecor: The Image Decor replaces BitmapFactory and improves support for animated images by providing better decoding, resizing and post-processing.

  • Unified Biometric Authentication: With Android P, Google has added native biometric security support for apps. This feature creates a standardized look and feel with all the apps.

  • Power Management: This category is broadly divided into four subcategories viz, Doze, App Standby Buckets, Background restrictions and Battery Saving improvements.
