Know about - Google Play (Apps Storage Consumption)

A very common problem faced by all the lower and mid-range smartphones users is a low storage space available which leads to sluggish performance and users may not be able to use all the apps they wanted to and there are few solutions to overcome this issue, one is using GO or Lite apps (limited availability of GO or Lite apps) or and another is way is keeping track of installed apps and its usability by using an app such as Files GO.

Google has added a useful feature into the Play Store app, called "Storage" (Play Store Menu > My Apps & Games > Installed tab) which shows how much storage is occupied on the smartphone and free storage as well, though it doesn't show exact size that is used by all the apps.

Google Play - Installed Tab (Path:Menu > My Apps & Games > Installed)

Accessing the info tab shows (Free up space) all the apps installed on the smartphone, space consumed by the app and the last time an app was used. Unnecessary apps or the apps consuming more space can be uninstalled.

Google Play - Free Up Space & Sorting

Apps sorting option is available for quick finding an app.
